About Us

Okay…here’s the story. I was involved in a traumatic logging accident when I was young and suffered massive head trauma. My vision became impaired and I turned to photography as a type of physical therapy. The good that came from this accident is I developed a sort of “sixth sense” and know what’s going to happen before it actually happens. I know this sounds crazy but I will sometimes have a dream and not realize the importance when I awake the next day. Shortly after the dream, I will encounter a situation that I have had a dream about and I will then know what is going to happen. This is an incredible asset in wedding photography, since I know what is coming next, and I am ready with my camera to capture these moments. The doctors can’t explain it but they said it’s rare and exists in other patients who have suffered a similar head injury.

Well, not really, but that was good story. The fact is, Eleanor and I love being around people, and we love being around love. Love is what inspires us, emotion is what captivates us, and passion is what drives us. We feel so fortunate to get to document two families merging and the creation of a new family, yours. If we had to describe ourselves in one word, it would be fun-passionate-creative-trustworthy-artistic and calming. I know that’s more than one word, but hey this is our website!

To beĀ  a good wedding photographer, one must have sound technical skills and command of one’s equipment. You must think we have the skills, or you probably wouldn’t be reading this. In my opinion, to be a great photographer you have to have personality. Face it, do you want to spend one of the most important days of your life with a photographer with the personality of a wet noodle? I hope not! Because if that’s what you want, we are not the noodle for you. If you want to have an incredible experience and the time of your life, let’s get together and have some fun. It will be a blast and your pictures will reflect that emotion. We will be the best of friends by the end of the night; I promise. Don’t be surprised if your guests ask you how long we have known each other. Gosh…all these weddings must be making me soft!
